plasma-active-settings software package provides settings for the KDE Plasma Active workspace, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install plasma-active-settings
plasma-active-settings is installed in your system.
Make ensure the plasma-active-settings package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep plasma-active-settings *
You will get with plasma-active-settings package name, version, architecture and description in a table
